3. Final step in creating the High Volume “Do” I can’t get enough of, is using a great hairspray! Some hairsprays can be extremely wet and sticky, but the one I have pictured below is great, and to top it off, I have a tip for finding it for a steal!!!
The next time you visit my three boyfriends: Marshall, TJ, or Ross keep a Golden Eye out! We talked about Prep & Pump but now it’s time to think about the Possibilities! If you’re a sucker for Designer hair care but don’t want to be fooled out of your hard earned cash hit up your local TJMaxx, Marshalls, or Ross! I have a legit obsession with these three guys and it’s because they have EVERYTHING a *Polished for Pennies Professional needs to feed her inner style tiger. That is why it is so important for polished shoppers to remember never to neglect their beauty departments! We usually associate these retail havens with clothes, accessories, and home goods but I’ve been scoring my Rusk and Sebastian hair sprays, Moroccan oils, and Rusk volume sprays from these retailers because they provide the best quality brands for less. For example pictured below is Rusk Hairspray that at retail cost 14 Bucks!! WHAT! No way, so I visited my boy TJ and only paid 8.99! The lesson here is if you keep a Golden Eye you’ll never know what you can find. FYI: Living polished on pennies takes work, creativity, and an eye for items that ooze quality. You can look and feel like a million bucks on a budget but it’s not going to come to you, so get out there and find that bargain item that brightens up your smile, your outfit, and your day! I believe in you…and when you find it tell me about it!! I’d love to hear about your Polished for Penny items! Have a great weekend! -V
