There’s nothing more classic and easy to wear than black, but when spring and summer role around it can sometimes be tricky to give black the light airiness that spring calls for! So here’s an outfit that I wore in LA while working with Marshalls, to show you that just by paying attention to the texture of black pieces, you can bring basic black into the seasonal sunlight!

This fabfound French Connection top scored at Marshalls was a sheer wonder for $29.99! It’s sheerness is spot on for hotter weather and embellished perfectly to twinkle in the sun. I paired it with Haute Hippie silk joggers from Burlington Coat Factory to mimic the tops light airy feel! Gals you won’t freaking believe it but I got them for under $15 dollars on the clearance rack and let me tell you, Haute Hippie doesn’t come cheap! HOLY Shop for What POPS!

So finally, I added a pair of adorable jelly sling back sandals that I got for $25 on sale at a local shoe boutique called Hot Foot in the Northeast part of Philly!

This look is breathable, beautiful, and basic black with POP for hotter months! Perfect to stroll through your city or any in the sunlight and feel glam and grateful to be feeling that sun in your face and wind in your hair! Here’s me wearing this look while strolling through Venice, CA taking in the sights!
