Gal Pals, I know how it is. Everyday it’s a battle to be comfortable and fashionable for taking on that 9 to 5 without be anything but basic! BUT, it’s with basics that the everyday work wardrobe can stand out! The look I’m rocking here is the perfect look for me when I’m heading to work, and I’ve accomplished stand out style with only 3 pieces!
Because I’m all about making a statement, and in TV you only have about two minutes to make one, I have to rely on pieces that are not only practical but POP! That’s why a statement coat is always a necessity for me. Whether long or short, patterned or monotone, a coat does wonders to button you up not only from the cold but it will have you looking polished and put together. This long denim duster wrap coat I got from Revivals Consignment boutique in Ardmore for $75 makes a great addition to my closet. Giving me texture, edge, and a structured shape that works at work.
Under the coat? An awesome sweater dress with fringe from Target! I’ve been obsessed with the Who What Wear label they have been featuring there and this sweater dress is blog worthy and girl boss worthy for $39.
Finally, no work look is complete without the right heel to put some pep in your step! These Franco Sarto over the knee suede boots have major comfort with a block heel so I’m able to run from story to story, and the classic black color keeps city chic.
In 3 pieces and in no time… it’s time to WERK. That’s Polished for Pennies!
Coming up soon a guest post from my Good Gal Pal Anita Oh and how she WERKS her work wear too!
